Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are the diseases that are the infections caused by the bacteria, viruses, fungi, or protozoa. These diseases are termed as sexual because they are transmitted from the one human to another through the sexual activity. Vaginal sex, anal sex, and oral sex can be the means to transfer STDs. The sexual health is completely devastated by the STDs. Unprotected sex with the multiple partners is found to be the main cause of the STDs all over the world. It is very sad to known that maximum numbers of the STD sufferers are teens due to the inadequate knowledge about the sex and protection methods. So, the next generation is being affected largely by the STDs that are causing infertility problems in the teens.
As per the recent research study, STDs may cause infertility. A person who is unaware of this should understand that STDs can make him impotent permanently. STDs may cause the problems like erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation. STDs effects the sperm production by disrupting the mechanism of the testis. Thus, it leads to the infertility problem in men. In women also, infertility problems are noted due to the STDs. Male as well as female reproductive system is affected adversely by the long existence of the STDs. Remember that STDs should be treated at the initial stage itself otherwise there are high chances that it will affect your fertility level. The best way to stay away from the STDs is to avoid the sex with the person whose medical history is unaware to use.
Many times the STDs go untreated because no abnormal symptoms are shown at the initial stage. Only once the disease gets severe the symptoms are shown which take on the serious nature as they are at the final stage. Thus, it gets difficult to treat STDs at the final stage. Sexually active individuals should take a special care because there are high chances of these individuals to get affected by the STDs and infertility issues. I believe that everybody of us should take some responsibility about their sex life to stay away from the STDs. In fact parents should discuss the sex with the teens openly because this is the need of time. If you will explain your kids about the disadvantages of the sex clearly then you may be safeguarding your kid from the hazardous STDs.
